the plan and I am sticking to it


Well its back to swimming on Monday, back to life as I know it, I keep saying that in hopes that it will kick in. I have been behaving badly in the eating department, and not even weighing myself, because I know what will happen when I get on the scale. Now since i have been off therapy for over a week, it is time to get on with it, and go back to swimming, I know this helped with my weight before the arm injury. So this is the plan, and I am sticking to it

Sick..

I have been laid down with a bad cold, runny nose and watery eyes.  And dont even really want to think about anything green.  Soup chicken noodle and piece of rye toast, and some diet coke.  I think that should make me feel better today.  I dont really want any bad for me things when I am sick, its hard enough just to get things down.

Emotional Eater


Today started off badly had to drive the neighbour early in the morning with her mother to the doctor, they did not have a ride.  Went to Second Cup and had a hot chocolate, and a low fat muffin.  Waited and Waited, then it was 12:00 still no call, still waiting, small fry from mcdonalds, .  So really things that if counted properly I can incorporate into my diet, but I didnt want to, what made me get those fries, I really didnt need them, I was bored from waiting, mad at my husband, and altogether having a shitty day.  So I am emotional eater.  When things start going down hill, so does my diet.  So how am I going to fix that, because truthfully my life is not smooth.

weigh in day will be on thursdays




Now this is a first, I posted a picture of me, that normally doesnt happen, 
Here I said I was going to blog alot, and here I have been lax about it.  Well I have decided that I am going to weigh myself on Thursdays.  I am doing the same as before counting calories, and watching how many carbs I eat.  Though I do like carbs, I find they fill you up.  I have been walking the dog for about an hour a day as long as the weather is good.  I have decided when its colder which is going to be this week, I will walk on the treadmill.  I was going to walk at the mall, but that's just not me.

I also decided that even If i don't have a picture to post, I am still going to post.  This is my record of my journey..

229 and counting






Well I have not been here for almost a year, that does not mean that I am not  been dieting I have been.  It has been a long slow road of ups and downs, I now weight 229.  Now I didn't do to well at Christmas, but I have let it go and moved on, I have started logging my foods again, that seems to help.  And scouring the low fat cooking sites, that helps as well, variety is the spice of life they say.  So tonight I am making tacos, but I am having one taco, and on a lettuce leaf, salad, and an apple.  Also planning your food each day, helps alot takes the guess work out of it, when you are starving and making all the wrong choices.  I had to stop swimming for awhile, because of my shoulder having therapy on it, so exercise has been so so.  But I need to exercise I know that to help me with the weight loss.  Today was a nice day in the land of the so cold and snow, above zero, so took devil dog and  I went on an hour walk, got my exercise in and some fresh air, that always gives you a good perspective on life.
